Crochet with Aabhar – Gentle Waves Stitch
Gentle Waves Crochet Stitch is a familiar-looking pattern that is very similar in its appearance to the Seafoam knitting pattern. It makes a soft and airy fabric with a good drape and a nautical-themed texture that is quite attention-grabbing. Gentle swells and soft-sloping valleys create textured waves.
Though it looks complex, Gentle Waves is a simple 2-row repeat crochet pattern with 10-stitch repeating motifs. It is a simple crochet pattern that only uses single and double crochet stitches along with chain stitches.
The Gentle Waves Crochet Stitch is perfect for projects such as scarves and similar wearables. So, try out this crochet stitch whenever you find a project that looks a little too simple! You can even imagine making a full-size afghan or a summer jacket with this crochet pattern. As the stitches give the appearance of waves, you can use nautical-colored yarns to give the project an oceanic vibe.
