Zigzag Triangles Crochet Stitch | Crochet with Aabhar
Zigzag Triangles crochet stitch features a zigzagging arrangement of double crochet triangles. Even the open spaces have a triangular shape! It is a simple openwork crochet pattern that is easy to learn as it is a single row repeat of 5 stitches.
Similar to the Zigzag Openwork crochet stitch, it can be used to make crochet shawls, summer wraps, or even curtains.

Pattern Instructions
Foundation ch: (Multiple of 5) + 1, plus 3 beg ch.
For example, start with (5 x 4) + 1 + 3 = 24 ch for a sample swatch.
Row 1 (RS): | 1dc in 6th ch from hook, ch2, 3dc in same ch as prev dc, * sk next 4 ch, [1dc, ch2, 3dc] in next ch; rep from * to last 3 ch, sk next 2 ch, 1dc in last ch, turn. |
Row 2: | ch3 (counts as 1dc), * [1dc, ch2, 3dc] in next ch2-sp; rep from * to t-ch, 1dc in t-ch, turn. |
Repeat Row 2 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
