Crochet with Aabhar – Window Puff Crochet Stitch
Window Puff Crochet Stitch is a textured pattern combining puff stitches, chains, double crochet, and treble crochet stitches. They form nice, alternating columns of open windows and puffs.
The Window Puff stitch is an elegant yet simple lace crochet stitch. The pattern repeats over 6 stitches and 2 rows.

Special stitch:
4hdc-puff: [Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull through] x 4 times in the same stitch, yarn over and pull through all 9 loops on hook, ch1.
Pattern Instructions
Foundation ch: (any multiple of 6) + 1, plus 1.
For example, start with (6 x 3) + 1 + 1 = 20 ch for a sample swatch.
Note: To make this crochet pattern, you need a minimum of 14 foundation chains.
| Row 1 (WS): | 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * 1sc in next st; rep from * to end, turn. |
| Row 2: | ch5, 1dc in same st as the starting ch, * sk next 2 sc, 1 [4hdc-puff] in next sc, sk next 2 sc, [1dc, ch3, 1dc] in next sc; rep from * to last 6 sc, sk next 2 sc, 1 [4hdc-puff] in next sc, sk next 2 sc, [1dc, ch2, 1tr] in last sc, turn. |
| Row 3: | ch1, 3sc next ch2-sp, * 1sc on top of 4hdc-puff, 5sc in next ch3-sp; rep from * to last 4hdc-puff, 1sc on top of 4hdc-puff, 3sc in t-ch, turn. |
Repeat Rows 2 & 3 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
