Wave Lace Knit Stitch is a classic Shetland lace pattern with gorgeous scalloped edges and an all-over openwork design. It is a simple, beginner-friendly knitting pattern that is a variation of the classic Feather and Fan knitting stitch.

Because of its scalloped edges, the Wave Lace Knit Stitch is perfect for edging in projects such as baby blankets, scarf, etc.

CO	Cast on
k	Knit
k2tog	Knit 2 stitches together
p	Purl
rep	Repeat
RS	Right side
ssk	1. Slip next 2 stitches knitwise on to right needle one at a time. 2. Insert left needle into front of these 2 stitches. 3. Knit them together through back loops.
st (s)	Stitch (es)
WS	Wrong side
yo	Yarn over

Pattern Instructions

CO (Multiple of 12 stitches) + 1 stitch. For example, you can cast on (12 x 2) + 1 = 25 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 1 (RS):	Purl.
Row 2:	Purl.
Row 3:	k1, * [k2tog] twice, [yo, k1] x 3 times, yo, [ssk] twice, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 4:	Purl.
Row 5:	Rep Row 3.
Row 6:	Purl.
Row 7:	k1, * k2tog, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, ssk, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 8:	Purl.
Row 9:	Knit.
Row 10:	Purl.
