Knit with Aabhar – Butterfly Lace Stitch Pattern
Pattern Description
Butterfly Lace stitch creates an all-over lace fabric with offset motifs resembling butterflies. Each butterfly motif has a set of 4 eyelets. This knitting pattern features strategically placed yarn overs to make the knitted fabric appear like a field full of butterflies.
While the knitting pattern is 8 rows long, the same pattern repeats over every 4 rows, shifted over a few stitches for the offset design. You can feature the Butterfly Lace stitch in blankets, baby cardigans, and scarves. Unlike the other Butterfly knitting stitch, it’s a versatile lace knitting pattern without creating too much openwork and only a little bit of airiness.
