Vandyke Lace Stitch Pattern is one of the conventional lace knitting patterns with the eyelets creating a column of lacy ‘V’s. The arrangement of eyelets in the staggering setting creates the V shape, and repeats of the same stacked on top of each other complete the lace panel.
There are many variations of the Vandyke Lace in the world of knitting, but we are giving you the pattern where the V-shaped arrangement of eyelets is stacked in a column. What is common in all the variations is that the lace eyelets either create a zig-zag or are pointed in one direction.
The Vandyke Lace Stitch Pattern is perfect as a lace panel accent for making shawls, scarves, wraps, or sleeves. You can also knit it as an all-over lace by repeating the lace panel in your knitting projects.
