Fish Scale Stitch Pattern is a lace panel pattern with lace eyelets creating shapes of fish scales stacked in a column. It’s an easy pattern to learn if you are familiar with knitting lace and eyelet stitches. There’s another ‘fish’ related knitting pattern – Fishtail Lace Pattern – where eyelets create the shape of a fishtail.
The Fish Scale Stitch Pattern will look great as front accents for socks and arm warmers. You can also knit repeats of the lace panel pattern to create designs for afghans or scarves.
