Tulip Bud Stitch Pattern, as the name suggests, creates a lovely tulip bud on a background of garter stitch. The tulip bud motif with leaves on the sides creates a little bit of texture in the knitted fabric, and it looks like an embossed design.
Although it looks simple, you need to be careful while following the pattern instructions. For example, to make the main tulip bud, the number of stitches increase from row 12 and then starts reducing in row 20 again. It is a repeat of 27 rows in a panel of 33 stitches.
The Tulip Bud Stitch Pattern is perfect as a lace panel accent for making dishcloths primarily. You can also knit repeats of the pattern in a column to make projects like throws or front of a cushion cover.
