Pattern Description
Lace Checkerboard is an easy to follow, all-over lace knitting pattern with checkerboard-style arrangement of eyelet-filled diamond motifs. Featuring common lace knitting elements like k2tog and ssk, this knitting pattern is simple to learn.
Like most other lace knitting patterns, it looks best in thinner weight yarns. It will work well in a variety of projects such as pullovers, baby blankets, and jackets.

CO (Multiple of 10 sts) + 4 sts. For example, you can cast on (10 x 2) + 4 = 24 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 2: | Purl. |
Row 3: | k3, * [yo, ssk] x 2 times, k1, k2tog, yo, k3; rep from * to last st, k1. |

Row 5: | k2, * [yo, ssk] x 3 times, k4; rep from * to last 2 sts, yo, ssk. |
