Crochet with Aabhar – Honeycomb Stitch
Honeycomb Crochet Stitch is a pretty openwork and lace-textured pattern. Just like the Honeycomb Knitting Stitch, each motif resembles a honeycomb. Visually, it is also quite similar to the Arcade Stitch.
It is a simple stitch that works quickly and uses a few basic crochet stitches. You can make this pattern easily as it mainly uses single crochet and chain stitches. Honeycomb Crochet Stitch is a 4-row repeat, and the honeycomb motif repeats over five stitches.
It is a fabulous stitch that will look great in any project, such as bags, tablecloths, and more summer projects. You can also use this stitch to make a long table runner in bright colors to bring vibrancy to your home. It looks best after blocking, as it is quite an openwork pattern. The blocking requirement will vary depending on the type of yarn you use. If you use a bulky yarn, the crocheted fabric will be sturdier and hold its shape.

Foundation ch: (any multiple of 5) + 1, plus 1.

| Row 2: | ch1, 1sc in first 2 sc, * ch5, sk 2 sc, 1sc in next 3 sc; rep from * to last 4 sc, ch5, sk 2 sc, 1sc in last 2 sc, turn. |
| Row 3: | ch1, 1sc in first sc, * sk next sc, 5sc in ch5-sp, sk next sc; rep from * to last 2 sc, sk next sc, 1sc in last sc, turn. |
| Row 4: | ch5 (counts as a tr and ch2), sk first 2 sc, 1sc in next 3 sc, * ch5, sk 3 sc, 1sc in next 3 sc; rep from * to last 2 sc, ch2, 1tr in last sc, turn. |

Repeat Rows 3 – 6 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
