Double Rhombus Stitch Pattern | Knit with Aabhar

Pattern Description

Double Rhombus Stitch Pattern is a textured knitting pattern that will require some serious knitting skills. The knitting pattern is very similar in appearance to Lattice Cable or Twist Lattice patterns, but unlike those patterns, the embossed cables do not overlap. The two special stitches create the embossed cable effect – 1/1 Right Purl Cross (RPC) and 1/1 Left Purl Cross (LPC).

Double Rhombus Stitch is a non-reversible knitting pattern, and because of its bold appearance, it will work well on large fabrics like blankets and afghans. It’s also a great knitting pattern for making cushions and pillows because of its texture.

1/1 RPC (1/1 Right Purl Cross) –

  2. Pick up the dropped stitch with the left needle, then transfer the slipped stitch back to the left needle. (The stitches are now twisted.)
  3. Knit the first stitch and purl the second stitch.
