Beaded Rib Stitch is an easy ribbing pattern that features stockinette stitch columns of ribs separated by a row of seed stitches. The addition of seed stitch gives a beautiful texture to the knitted fabric.

It is one of the simplest patterns as it has two alternating rows of basic knit and purl stitches. You won’t have to keep track of multiple rows or complex stitches. It is not a reversible knitting pattern as the wrong side is not identical to the right side.

The Beaded Rib Stitch knitting pattern is a great design option for blankets and scarves. The knitting pattern works up quickly and can use yarn of any weight.

CO (Multiple of 5) + 2. For example, you can cast on (4 x 5) + 2 = 22 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 1 (RS):	* p2, k1, p1, k1; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2.
Row 2:	k2, * p3, k2; rep from * to end.

Repeat these free knitting pattern instructions (2 rows) until you have reached the desired length for your work.
