Quilted Lattice Stitch Pattern | Knit with Aabhar
Pattern Description
Quilted Lattice Stitch is a classic knitting pattern featuring a lattice-like network created by interlocking stitches. It makes a dense and warm knitted non-reversible fabric as it combines knit and purl stitches.
Getting the yarn strands in the front is easy; you just have to bring the yarn to the front instead of the back of the work as usual when doing the knit stitch. So, bring the yarn to the front, slip the stitches, and then take it back before knitting the next stitch. Remember to keep even tension in all the stitches – not too loose or tight.
Avoid using it to knit socks or hats because it is not a stretchable pattern. Though, it will make up for a nice pillow cover or a runner. This pattern looks amazing in variegated yarns, or you can work with solids or semi-solid yarns. You can also create a two-color version of Quilted Lattice with the slipped stitches knitted in a different color from the rest of the fabric.
