Wheatear Stitch Pattern | Knit with Aabhar
Pattern Description
Wheatear Stitch knitting pattern looks just as its name suggests, and it features motifs designed as wheatears with eyelets. The purl stitch in the background makes the motifs pop out even more, almost as if they are embossed on the knitted fabric.
Despite it looking complex, Wheatear Stitch is very easy. The pattern repeats every 16 rows in multiples of 8 + 6 stitches. This is a non-reversible pattern, and you will find many variations with the same name in other handicrafts as well, including hand embroidery and crochet.
You can feature this textured lace knitting pattern in projects like baby blankets, shawls, boot cuffs, and fingerless gloves.
