Crochet with Aabhar – Peacock Fan Crochet Stitch
Peacock Fan Stitch, also known as Peacock Stitch, is an easy, beginner-friendly, lacy, open-work stitch that forms half-circle fan motifs. It’s very similar in appearance to an array of opened peacock feathers.
The Peacock Fan crochet stitch is similar to the Open Scallop stitch in its construction, but it has a two-row repeat pattern. It gives more stability to the crocheted fabric, unlike the Open Scallop stitch. It is made by clusters of treble crochet stitches spread over 10 stitches. There are only two stitches in this pattern which makes it an easy and fun pattern to make. This crochet pattern includes working with big stitches which in turn will make your project grow quickly. Learn how the crochet stitch heights affect your crochet projects.
Peacock Fan crochet stitch is a reversible pattern that you can make using any type of yarn. The stitch will look great in a variegated or self-striping yarn. You can even choose to make all the repeats with different colors to give your project a more colorful appearance. As it creates a stable fabric, this crochet stitch is ideal for projects such as an openwork scarf, summer top, or even a light blanket.
