Mock Cable on Moss Knitting Stitch is a textured all-over pattern that gives an appearance of a cable knitting pattern without any cable stitches. The pattern is just as the name suggests – a faux cable on a background of moss stitches. It’s not a reversible pattern, and the ‘wrong’ side’ looks like a log bamboo on moss stitch.
As it is not an actual cable knitting pattern, it is a great knitting stitch for projects such as blankets, baby items, and headbands.
