Knit with Aabhar – Hazelnut Stitch Pattern
Pattern Description
Hazelnut Stitch Pattern is a beautiful pattern that gets its name due to the resemblance of the embossed textured pattern with the hazelnuts. It’s an excellent pattern if you are looking to create a raised texture in your knitting project. The stitches resemble the shape of hazelnut in the form of embossed knots. This free knitting pattern is also known as the Cobnut pattern amongst the community.
Although it is a simple and straightforward pattern, it involves some tricky stitches. The lower end of the nut gets its shape from increasing into the same stitch twice (a double increase). And then, combining three stitches into one a few rows later shapes the top end of the nut.
The Hazelnut Stitch Pattern is perfect for making textured sweaters, pullovers, cardigans, or even blankets.
