Diagonal Mesh Stitch is a textured knitting pattern with an openwork mesh of what looks like braided yarn. A whole network of tiny holes in the pattern makes it light despite the yarn looking like it is braided. Knitting this pattern requires some skills as it uses tricky stitches to give it a weaving-like appearance.
This free knitting pattern will look amazing in knitting home trinkets like trivets, table mats, and hot pads. You can also use it for making light afghans and lap blankets.
