Knit with Aabhar – Seafoam Stitch Pattern
Seafoam Stitch is a knitting pattern that looks like knitted waves of yarn created with a bunch of yarn overs and basic garter stitches. The knitted pattern is very breathable and also reversible if you are using single-color yarn. Seafoam Stitch is quite beginner-friendly, where you can get familiar with yarn overs as it’s just 8-row repeats. If you are new to lace patterns, you can learn this as a transition pattern before starting with the lace and eyelets.
Seafoam Stitch, also known as the Wave Stitch, is a perfect choice for summer knitting projects as it is very airy and light in feel. As the stitch has a wavy design, as reflected from its name, it is ideal for projects such as light cardigans, shawls, scarves, and even afghans. Unlike most other patterns, it uses quite a bit of yarn, so you need to keep that into account while knitting, but it also grows quickly as well.
