This Garter Slip Stitch Pattern can be made in a single color or in multiple colors. Single color Garter Slip Stitch is obvious, you just need to follow the pattern using one yarn. In multi color options, you can make this pattern with either two or three yarn colors. The two color Garter Slip Stitch pattern is written below and you can follow it as is. If you are working with three colors A, B, and C, you can either make 2 rows each with the three colors or you can make one row each for colors A, B, and C throughout the pattern.
As the knitted fabric has excellent texture, this stitch is perfect for knitting sweaters, cardigans, and vests.

Repeat this free knit pattern (8 rows) until you have reached the desired length for your work. A quick tip to remember – on the right side (RS) rows, slip the stitches with yarn in the back (away from you), while on the wrong side (WS) rows, slip the stitches with yarn in front (close to you).
