Knit with Aabhar – Plaited Rib Stitch Pattern

Pattern Description

Plaited Rib is a heavily textured yet elegant knitting stitch pattern that features prominent ribs, including entwined cable stitches, separated by a couple of reverse stockinette stitches.

It involves the basic one-stitch cable you can make without a cable needle. It may not be the easiest pattern, but if you are familiar even a little bit with cable work, you will be able to make this intricate and gorgeous knitting pattern. Plaited Rib stitch is a reversible two-row repeat pattern, although it is not identical on both sides. What’s different about this one is that you have to knit the wrong side version of the right twist.

Plaited Rib Stitch is a classic that will make up for some gorgeous winter gifts as you take up holiday knitting! The end result is a beautiful textured knitted fabric. Feature this in scarves and wraps, and you will have something wonderful for your holiday gifting.
