Pattern Description
Pinwheel knitting stitch is a whimsical pattern, full of texture that looks like, as you would expect from the name, a pinwheel. There are four triangles connected in the center to make up a square. Its a completely reversible knitting pattern with geometric motifs.
Featuring basic knit and purl stitches, Pinwheel is a beginner-friendly pattern that’s easy to learn. Because of it being a reversible stitch, you can make some gorgeous blankets, wraps, and scarves with it.

CO a multiple of 12 sts. For example, you can cast on 12 x 2 = 24 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

| Row 2: | * p5, k1, p1, k5; rep from * to end. |
| Row 3: | * p4, k2, p2, k4; rep from * to end. |
| Row 4: | * p3, k3, p3, k3; rep from * to end. |
| Row 5: | * p2, k4, p4, k2; rep from * to end. |
| Row 6: | * p1, k5, p5, k1; rep from * to end. |
| Row 7: | * k6, p6; rep from * to end. |
| Row 8: | Rep Row 1. |
| Row 9: | * k1, p5, k5, p1; rep from * to end. |
| Row 10: | * k2, p4, k4, p2; rep from * to end. |
| Row 11: | * k3, p3, k3, p3; rep from * to end. |
