Moss Cluster Crochet Stitch | Crochet with Aabhar

Moss Cluster Crochet stitch is a variation of the classic Moss stitch but with double single crochet stitches. There are a few other differences but this one is a major one.

The pattern repeats over 3 stitches and 2 rows. And it’s simple enough to learn in no time.

beg	beginning
ch	chain
ch-sp	chain space(s)
rep	repeat
sc	single crochet
sk	skip
st (s)	stitch (es)
t-ch	turning chain

Pattern Instructions

Foundation ch: (Multiple of 3) + 1, plus 1 beg ch.
For example, start with (3 x 8) + 1 + 1 = 26 ch for a sample swatch.

Row 1 (RS):	1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * ch1, sk next 2 ch, 2sc in next ch; rep from * to end, turn.
Row 2:	ch1, 2sc in next ch1-sp, * ch1, 2sc in next ch1-sp; rep from * to last sc, 1sc in last sc, turn.
Row 3:	ch1, 1sc in 1st sc, * ch1, 2sc in next ch1-sp; rep from * to last ch1-sp, ch1, sk next 2 sc, 2sc in t-ch, turn.

Repeat Rows 2 & 3 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
