Crochet Soap Saver Pattern – Dreamsicle Spa Set – Part 2 of 4
Last week, we shared a free crochet pattern for the Crochet Bath Pouf as a part of the Dreamsicle Spa Set. It’s time for the next pattern in the series, Crochet Soap Saver!
Free crochet patterns for Dreamsicle Spa Set:
Crochet Soap Saver
A Soap Saver is a perfect sustainable accessory for your bar of soap and a must-have in any spa set. It helps in whipping up a nice foamy soap lather. The Crochet Soap Saver gently exfoliates the skin along with holding the soap inside.
The Soap Saver can also hold all the small and leftover pieces of soap inside that generally go to waste because of their small size. You can place a full-size standard soap bar or place the leftover pieces of used soap bars in the Crochet Soap Saver.
After using it, make sure that you hang it to dry instead of leaving it on the soap dish and you can get rid of the soggy soap problems!
The Crochet Soap Saver is simple to make and the pattern is beginner-friendly. You only need to know the four basic stitches of crochet – chain, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch.
The Soap Saver free crochet pattern uses a cotton yarn that makes it super absorbent and durable. As it is a cotton yarn, it remains gentle on your skin and can help in removing dead skin cells without being too harsh on the skin. The Soap Saver is re-useable, eco-friendly, and easy to maintain. The variegated Lily Sugar n Cream Creamsicle yarn gives a pretty color design and pattern.
The Soap Saver is not only a part of an at-home spa set but it can also be an excellent addition to any gift set. You can combine it with some fancy and premium soap bars and body lotion for a handmade gift set.

ch 70. Fasten off leaving a long tail of yarn.
Note: Make a tight chain. If you find it difficult to tightly chain, then you can also change the hook to a lower size like 4.0 mm (G / 6) and then make the drawstring.
Insert the tail of yarn in the tapestry needle and weave the drawstring through the dc stitches in Row 10. Make a knot with both the ends of the drawstring and now weave in the ends and trim.
Another possible use of Soap Saver is to use them as small gift bags for any holiday or occasion. You can put candy inside for children or any other small gift item. You can always line it with a solid material if you feel that small items may fall out.
