Corded Ridge Crochet Stitch is a highly textured stitch with embossed horizontal cords running across the fabric.
This versatile stitch is a single-stitch repeat crocheted over 2 rows. It is slightly complex as it uses stitches like reverse single crochet in front loop (rev sc flo) and double crochet in back loop (dc blo).

This free pattern is written using US crochet terms.
|blo||back loop only|
|flo||front loop only|
|rev sc||reverse single crochet|
|st (s)||stitch (es)|
Foundation ch: (any number of stitches), plus 3 beg ch.
For example, start with (20) + 3 = 23 ch for a sample swatch.
|Row 1 (RS):||1dc in 4th ch from hook, * 1dc in next ch; rep from * to end.|
|Row 2:||ch1, working from left to right in the row – 1 rev sc flo in 1st dc, * 1 rev sc flo in next dc; rep from * to t-ch, 1 rev sc in t-ch.|
|Row 3:||ch3, sk 1st st, * 1 dc blo in next st 2 rows below; rep from * to end.|
Repeat Rows 2 & 3 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
