Knit with Aabhar – Woven Cable Stitch Pattern
Pattern Description
Woven Cable is a popular knitting pattern that creates a unique and textured look with an illusion of woven cables, with each section of the cable pattern crossing over and under the others. The result is a beautiful, intricate design that adds depth and dimension to any knitting project. The woven basketweave effect comes from combining 2/2 Right and Left Crosses on offset rows.
This pattern is a favorite among experienced knitters who enjoy challenging themselves with complex patterns and techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or a beginner looking for a new challenge, woven cable knitting is a pattern that will impress and inspire. It is a 4-row repeat knitting pattern that’s easy to remember.
The Woven Cable knitting pattern can be used to create various items, from cozy blankets and scarves to stylish sweaters and cardigans. Because there are no purl stitches between the cable stitches, it creates a tightly knit fabric, so keep that in mind. And if you want the knitted fabric to have a little more flexibility, try knitting with needles larger than your yarn gauge recommends.
