Wavy Rib knitting stitch is a beautiful textured knitting pattern that combines ribbing with gentle wave-like curves. It only features knit and purl stitches so it is super easy to make.

It creates a lovely, elastic fabric with movement, great for scarves, blankets, hats, or even sweater borders.

k	Knit

Pattern Instructions

CO (Multiple of 6 stitches) + 2 stitches (minimum 14 sts). For example, you can cast on (6 x 4) + 2 = 26 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 1 (RS):	p2, * k4, p2; rep from * to end.
Row 2:	k2, * p4, k2; rep from * to end.
Row 3:	Rep Row 1.
Row 4:	Rep Row 2.
Row 5:	k3, p2, * k4, p2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.
Row 6:	p3, k2, * p4, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, p3.
Row 7:	Rep Row 5.
Row 8:	Rep Row 6.

Repeat this free knit pattern (8 rows) until you have reached the desired length for your work.
