In the Paired Single Crochet stitch pattern, the stitches are clustered together, forming small, repeating “V” knot-like shapes. The clusters are spaced out, with the next one worked into the space between the fans of the previous row. This staggered arrangement makes the pattern interlocking and seamless. And the resulting crocheted fabric is a sturdy and mostly opaque with a consistent and repeating visual rhythm.

Foundation ch: any number of ch.
For example, start with 22 ch for a sample swatch.

Row 1 (RS):	1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * 1sc2tog in same st and next st; rep from * to end, turn.
Row 2:	ch1, 1sc in 1st st, * 1sc2tog in same st and next st; rep from * to end, turn.
