Little Lattice stitch is a textured panel knitting pattern featuring a lattice mesh like network of embossed twisted stitches over reverse stockinette background.

With the prominent network of twisted stitches, this pattern will look good in projects like cushion covers, pillows, or even laptop bags.

This free knitting pattern is written in US terms. You can also check out other common knitting abbreviations. 

CO	Cast on
C2P	Cross 2 Purl (purl into front of 2nd st on needle, then purl 1st st, slipping both sts off needle together)
k	Knit
p	Purl
rep	Repeat
RS	Right side
st (s)	Stitch (es)
T2B	Twist 2 Back (sl 1 to CN, hold in back, k1, p1 from CN)
T2F	Twist 2 Front (sl 1 to CN, hold in front, p1, k1 from CN)
WS	Wrong side

Pattern Instructions

CO multiple of 6 sts (minimum 12 sts) for the panel and a few extra on both sides to make up the reverse stockinette st background. For example, you can cast on 4 (background) + 18 (panel) + 4 (background) = 24 stitches for a sample swatch. 

Row 1 of Panel (RS):	p1, *T2B, T2F, p2; rep from * to 5 sts before end of panel, T2B, T2F, p1.
Row 2 of Panel:	k1, * p1, k2; rep from * to 2 sts before end of panel, p1, k1.
Row 3 of Panel:	* T2B, p2, T2F; rep from * to end.
Row 4 of Panel:	p1, * k4, C2P; rep from * to 5 sts before end of panel, k4, p1.
Row 5 of Panel:	* T2F, p2, T2B; rep from * to end.
Row 6 of Panel:	Rep Row 2.
Row 7 of Panel:	p1, *T2F, T2B, p2; rep from * to 5 sts before end of panel, T2F, T2B, p1.
Row 8 of Panel:	k2, * C2P, k4; rep from * to 4 sts before end of panel, C2P, k2.
