Garter Lace Flag knitting stitch is a unique knitting pattern where each motif resembles a pennant made with garter stitches and little eyelets at the edge. These little flag motifs are arranged in columns and each flag is pointed in opposite direction. It’s a very geometrical design.

The fabric knitted with this fabric is flexible and soft, making it perfect for knitting blankets and cushions.

CO (Multiple of 9 sts) + 7 sts. For example, you can cast on (9 x 2) + 7 = 25 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 2:	p1, * k1, p8; rep from * to last 6 sts, k1, p5.
Row 3:	k3, k2tog, yo, k1, * k6, k2tog, yo, k1; rep from * to last st, k1.
