Florette knitting stitch is lace-like design, featuring distinctive “holes” or eyelets arranged in a regular, flower-like repeating pattern. The arrangement of openwork pattern and stockinette stitches is visually like the Butterfly Lace knitting pattern.

The pattern is very delicate and you can use it to knit wraps, scarves, and shawls.

Pattern Instructions

CO (Multiple of 12 stitches) + 7 stitches. For example, you can cast on (12 x 2) + 7 = 31 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 1 (RS):	k1, * p2tog, yo, k1, yo, p2tog, k7; rep from * to last 6 sts, p2tog, yo, k1, yo, p2tog, k1.
Row 2:	Purl.
Row 3:	k1, * yo, p2tog, k1, p2tog, yo, k7; rep from * last 6 sts, yo, p2tog, k1, p2tog, yo, k1.
Row 4:	Purl.
Row 5:	Rep Row 3.
Row 6:	Purl.
Row 7:	Rep Row 1.
Row 8:	Purl.
Row 9:	k7, * p2tog, yo, k1, yo, p2tog, k7; rep from * to end.
Row 10:	Purl.
Row 11:	k7, * yo, p2tog, k1, p2tog, yo, k7; rep from * to end.
Row 12:	Purl.
Row 13:	Rep Row 11.
Row 14:	Purl.
Row 15:	Rep Row 9.
Row 16:	Purl.
