Knit with Aabhar – Eyelet Chevron Stitch Pattern
Pattern Description
Eyelet Chevron Stitch Pattern is a classic knit stitch that creates a zigzag of eyelets all across the fabric. To make the right slanting stitches, you need to knit two stitches together while for making the left-slanting stitches, you have to slip a stitch, knit the next one, and then pass the slipped stitch over the knitting stitch. A simple yarn over creates the eyelets above the slanting stitches.
The zigzag eyelets on the stockinette stitch background give it a neat appearance. You can use it as an overall pattern in any project but you may want to choose something else as border stitch as it curls a bit.
You can choose the number of stitches between each vertical repeat of the pattern. This way, you can create rows of zigzag Eyelet Chevron Stitch as close or as far you want.
Eyelet Chevron Stitch Pattern is perfect for making a sweater, blanket, scarf, or even a hat.
