Twisted Moss knitting stitch creates a bumpy and textured knitted fabric that’s thick and squishy. It’s a reversible pattern with slightly different appearance on both sides.

The pattern is perfect for knitting blankets, scarves, or anywhere you want it to be same or similar on both sides.

CO	Cast on
k	Knit
p	Purl
rep	Repeat
RS	Right side
st (s)	Stitch (es)
WS	Wrong side

Special stitch –

K1B: insert needle through the center of st below next st on needle, knit it, slipping the st above off the needle at the same time.

Pattern Instructions

CO (Multiple of 2 stitches) + 1 stitch. For example, you can cast on (2 x 10) + 1 = 21 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 1 (WS):	Knit.
Row 2:	k1, * K1B, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 3:	Knit.
Row 4:	K1B, * k1, K1B; rep from * to end.

Repeat these free knitting pattern instructions (4 rows) until you have reached the desired length for your work.
