Lattice Box Crochet Stitch | Crochet with Aabhar
Lattice Box crochet stitch is a little bit mix of the Lattice stitch and the Boxed Block stitch. And like the Lattice Fan stitch, it has some elements of both stitches so that the resulting fabric is airy yet sturdy.
The pattern repeats over 4 stitches and 4 rows, and only needs the knowledge of basic crochet stitches – single crochet, double crochet, and chains.

Pattern Instructions
Foundation ch: (Multiple of 4) + 1, plus 1 beg ch.
For example, start with (4 x 5) + 1 + 1 = 22 ch for a sample swatch.
| Row 1 (WS): | 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * ch5, sk next 3 ch, 1sc in next ch; rep from * to end, turn. |
| Row 2: | ch5, * 1sc in next ch5-sp, ch5; rep from * to last ch5-sp, 1sc in last ch5-sp, ch2, 1dc in last sc, turn. |
| Row 3: | ch1, 1sc in 1st dc, * ch3, 1sc in next ch5-sp; rep from * to end, turn. |
| Row 4: | ch3, 3dc in next ch3-sp, * 4dc in next ch3-sp; rep from * to last ch3-sp, 3dc in last ch3-sp, 1dc in last sc, turn. |
| Row 5: | ch1, 1sc in 1st dc, * ch5, sk next 3 dc, 1sc in sp bet next 2 dc; rep from * to last 3 dc, ch5, sk next 3 dc, 1sc in t-ch, turn. |
Repeat Rows 2 – 5 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
