Iris & V Crochet Stitch | Crochet with Aabhar

Iris & V Crochet Stitch is like a mix of Iris and Small Shell & V crochet stitches, but instead of shells, there’s iris motif separated with double crochet v’s.

The pattern creates a fabric that’s airy, light, but sturdy enough that you can use it to make market bags. And, it’s a perfect one for any spring wearables.

Pattern Instructions

Foundation ch: (Multiple of 6) + 4, plus 3 beg ch.
For example, start with (6 x 3) + 4 + 3 = 25 ch for a sample swatch.

Row 1 (WS):	[1dc, ch1, 1dc] in 5th ch from hook, * sk next 2 ch, [1dc, ch1, 1dc] in next ch; rep from * to last 2 ch, sk next ch, 1dc in last ch, turn.
Row 2:	ch3, [2dc, ch1, 2dc] in next ch1-sp, * ch1, sk next ch1-sp, [2dc, ch1, 2dc] in next ch1-sp; rep from * to t-ch, 1dc in t-ch, turn.
Row 3:	ch3, * [1dc, ch1, 1dc] in next ch1-sp; rep from * to t-ch, 1dc in t-ch, turn.
Row 4:	ch3, 1dc in 1st st, * ch1, sk next ch1-sp, [2dc, ch1, 2dc] in next ch1-sp; rep from * to last ch1-sp, ch1, sk next ch1-sp, 2dc in t-ch, turn.
Row 5:	Rep Row 3.

Repeat Rows 2 – 5 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
