Fans on Bobbles Crochet Stitch | Crochet with Aabhar
Fans on Bobbles is just what the name suggests, there are bobbles and 3D fans in alternate rows of offset arrangement. The fans are placed over bobbles with tiny holes in the middle and the resulting fabric is highly textured.
There are wavy edges at the ends, so you can use it in decorative projects.

Special stitch:
5hdc-pc: (5hdc popcorn)
- Make 5hdc in indicated st.
- Drop the loop from hook, insert the hook in 1st hdc done from front to back.
- Grab the dropped loop on hook, and pull it through the 1st hdc.
Pattern Instructions
Foundation ch: (Multiple of 5) + 4, plus 1 beg ch.
For example, start with (5 x 4) + 4 + 1 = 25 ch for a sample swatch.
| Row 1 (WS): | 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in next 3 ch, * ch3, sk next ch, 1sc in next 4 ch; rep from * to end, turn. |
| Row 2: | ch3 (counts as 1dc), * 6dc in next ch3-sp; rep from * to end, 1dc in last sc, turn. |
| Row 3: | ch1, 1sc in 1st dc, * ch3, sk next dc, 1fpsc in next 4 dc, sk next dc; rep from * to t-ch, ch3, 1sc in t-ch, turn. |
| Row 4: | ch1, 1sc in 1st sc, * 1 x [5hdc-pc] in next ch3-sp, 1sc in next 4 sts; rep from * to last ch2-sp, 1 x [5hdc-pc] in last ch3-sp, 1sc in last sc, turn. |
| Row 5: | ch1, 1sc in 1st sc, ch3, sk next st, 1sc in next 4 sc; rep from * to last 2 sts, ch3, sk next st, 1sc in last sc, turn. |
| Row 6: | ch3 (counts as 1dc), 4dc in next ch3-sp, * 6dc in next ch3-sp; rep from * to last ch3-sp, 4dc in last ch3-sp, 1dc in last sc, turn. |
