Double Parallelogram knitting stitch is another beginner-friendly ‘parallelogram’ motif stitch that features zigzag arrangement of the geometrical shapes. It is an all-over textured pattern with alternating rows of slanting right and slanting left parallelograms. If you look at the pattern from the sides, you can see the parallelograms forming V’s of chevron.

It creates a textured and reversible fabric. Repeating over 10 rows, this pattern is one of the easiest, featuring basic knit and purl stitches. It is quite similar to Parallelogram Check Pattern featuring parallelograms that are stacked in the same orientation over each other.

The Double Parallelogram Stitch Pattern holds its shape quite easily making it a perfect choice for knitting projects like pillows, blankets, and scarves.

CO a multiple of 10 sts. For example, you can cast on 10 x 2 = 20 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

Row 1:	(RS) – * p5, k5; rep from * to end.
Row 2:	k1, * p5, k5; rep from * to last 9 sts, p5, k4.
Row 3:	p3, * k5, p5; rep from * to last 7 sts, k5, p2.
Row 4:	k3, * p5, k5; rep from * to last 7 sts, p5, k2.
Row 5:	p1, * k5, p5; rep from * to last 9 sts, k5, p4.
Row 6:	p4, * k5, p5; rep from * to last 6 sts, k5, p1.
Row 7:	k2, * p5, k5; rep from * to last 8 sts, p5, k3.
Row 8:	p2, * k5, p5; rep from * to last 8 sts, k5, p3.
Row 9:	k4, * p5, k5; rep from * to last 6 sts, p5, k1.
Row 10:	* k5, p5; rep from * to end.
