Cluster Triangles Crochet Stitch is a super easy crochet stitch with just chain stitches, single and double crochet. As the name suggests, each motif is a cluster of double crochet stitches shaped like a triangle.
The pattern is 4 stitches long and repeats over 4 rows. The crocheted fabric is light but holds its shape nicely.

Pattern Instructions
Foundation ch: (Multiple of 4) + 1, plus 3 beg ch.
For example, start with (4 x 5) + 1 + 3 = 24 ch for a sample swatch.
| Row 1 (RS): | 1dc in 4th ch from hook, * sk next 3 ch, 4dc in next ch; rep from * to last 4 sts, sk next 3 ch, 2dc in last ch, turn. |
| Row 2: | ch1, 1sc in 1st dc, * 1sc in next dc; rep from * to end making last sc in t-ch, turn. |
| Row 3: | ch3 (counts as 1dc), sk next sc, 4dc in next dc, * sk next 3 sc, 4dc in next sc; rep from * to last 2 sts, sk next sc, 1dc in last sc, turn. |
| Row 4: | ch1, sk 1st dc, * 1sc in next dc; rep from * to end making last sc in t-ch, turn. |
| Row 5: | ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc in same st, * sk next 3 sc, 4dc in next sc; rep from * to last 4 sts, sk next 3 sc, 2dc in last sc, turn. |
Repeat Rows 2 – 5 of this free crochet stitch pattern until you have reached the desired length for your work.
