Pattern Description
Twisted Basket Weave knitting stitch is an intricate and textured pattern, like a fancy version of the classic basket weaving. Special stitch:
C3 (Cross – 3) –
- Knit into front of 3rd stitch on the left needle.
- Knit the 1st stitch in usual way and slip it off left needle.
- Knit the 2nd stitch in usual way and slip both 2nd and 3rd stitches off left needle together.
Pattern Instructions
CO (Multiple of 8 stitches) + 5 stitches. For example, you can cast on (8 x 3) + 5 = 29 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

| Row 2: | k5, * p3, k5; rep from * to end. |
| Row 3: | Rep Row 1. |
| Row 4: | Rep Row 2. |
| Row 5: | p1, * C3, p5; rep from * to last 4 sts, C3, p1. |
| Row 6: | k1, * p3, k5; rep from * to last 4 sts, p3, k1. |
| Row 7: | Rep Row 5. |
| Row 8: | Rep Row 6. |
