Gansey Chevrons knitting stitch is a simple knitting pattern featuring embossed chevrons. It is a simple pattern with just knits and purls and you can clearly see the chevrons on the knitted fabric.

CO (Multiple of 16 sts) + 1 stitch. For example, you can cast on (16 x 2) + 1 = 33 stitches to knit a sample swatch.

| Row 2: | k1, * p5, k5, p5, k1; rep from * to end. |
| Row 3: | * p1, k4, p2, k1, p1, k1, p2, k4; rep from * to last st, p1. |
| Row 4: | k1, * p3, k2, p2, k1, p2, k2, p3, k1; rep from * to end. |
| Row 5: | * p1, k2, p2, k3, p1, k3, p2, k2; rep from * to last st, p1. |
| Row 6: | k1, * p1, k2, p4, k1, p4, k2, p1, k1; rep from * to end. |
